Bovington Photos Part 4: Tiger 131
This is Tiger 131, a Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf E1, the last of its kind in operable condition in the world. Looks good for over 70 years old. 131 is located in the Tank Museum at Bovington, Dorsetshire. Big, loud, and scary - but also very cool.
For me what is really interesting is the subtlety of the two tone camo. Nice photos and it looks like you had a good time. I always find something new each time I go to Bovington that reminds me what a treasure trove this collection is for wargamers.
It was certainly an awesome beast!
