Hordes and Armored Bears

   More armored bears! Yep. It's kind of a sickness. Don't know why I like big armored bears so much, but I sure do.

   Privateer Press is expected to release this box set in November 2017. It's the Trollblood Northkin Bear Handler & Battle Bears. It's awesome.

   I bought the starter set for Trollbloods a week or so back. I don't care if these are good in the game or not, I'll be getting these to augment the force.

  Two turret options available. Personally, I like the two MG (Pz I) version. You can also opt to go with a closed turret hatch, which I like. I'm not in love with the German Dwarves, but this guy is cool.

You know, considering how much I like bear figures, it's a bit odd that I don't own any.

Another Scibor Bear

   Scibor has made another sort of bear riders. It's probably been out there for a while - I haven't been to their site in ages (shame on me). However, I found them today and knew I had to share the bear. They even have more than one version...

   Besides, I am not really here. This was scheduled weeks ago. I am currently on an airplane heading to London, thence by train to Weymouth. My son and I shall be attending Tankfest at the Tank Museum in Bovington this weekend.

   While not exactly inexpensive at 37.75 euros, it's an interesting figure. Scibor, the maker, sells this as a general, but they also sell 'regular' dwarf bear cavalry. 28mm, by the way.

   This one is from Ramshackle Games. Not new, but I just remembered it was around. So, I thought i would share. The picture is from their online catalogue, which can be found right here.

   Big armoured bear. We like it. And a guy in a cowboy hat with a big frikking gun riding on him. The rider is an option. They also have 'plain' bears.

  These are from West Wind Productions's Dwarf Wars line. Not something I would normally peruse, but I saw one elsewhere and went looking. Pretty cool figures. Makes me want to build a non-Citadel Warhammer Dwarf army.

Armored Bear?

   I have to admit a fascination with bears. I just think they are awesome creatures. They are part of the reason I keep wanting to add a Kislevite faction to my Warhammer forces, or a Russian faction to VSF or Weird War forces. Anyway, I found a new one today while strolling the electronic goody aisles of Privateer Press.

   Now, forgetting the handler, if you like, that is one massive, mean, armored bear. The handler is Brun Cragback, and the bear is named Lug. They are Minions for the Hordes game - I am building a slow Circle Orboros force. I'll post pictures later of the two pieces I have so far.
