This first shot is of a Prinz Eugen-class cruiser, now in service with the Papal States. Technically on loan from the Austrian KuK Kriegsluftmarine, the Prinz Eugen and her sister ship, the Herzerzog Karl, are in essence a permanent part of the Papal fleet. The three turrets each mount twin 10" rifled guns.
I have a rather... unfocused approach to my various gaming interests. I roleplay, wargame, paint and collect minis.

Looking good so far. I wish I could figure out how I want to build my scratchbuilt nefs. The original designs for them didn't pan out.
These are store-bought. I found them on sale for something like 40%off on clearance from Great Hall Games in Austin. Bit of a drive for you to go check them out, though.
Yeah, that is too bad. I mean, I definitely need some more digs but it's pricey ordering them from the UK.

Hurrah The Papal Fleet! They look very good - and I like the Cherub Class numbers not names although you could also have modelled small clouds under each hull!
My own Papal Fleet is built, but not yet painted, I also wanted the Yellow/White tail markings.
Thanks for the up-date.

Thanks Tony.
I wasn't feeling up to attempting the papal arms of Pius IX on the white portion of the field. I figured yellow and white got the point across - "Shoot at us, you go to Hell."
Still need to do the flags, though.
